Triumph Factory Custom
A distinctive Speed Twin specification
TFC stands for Triumph Factory Custom. This Speed Twin is a limited edition that develops the Speed Twin 1200 RS with a particular combination of chassis components, carbon-fibre details and finishes.
The live Triumph UK page has a price and an order-enquiry route. That makes the next step a conversation about availability and the individual motorcycle, not a promise that a local allocation remains unsold.
Contact Pure Triumph at Grange in Wellingborough or Woburn to discuss the current position and other Modern Classics you would like to compare.

Hardware you can identify
Öhlins, Brembo and Akrapovič
The TFC specification includes fully adjustable Öhlins suspension at both ends, Brembo Stylema front brake calipers and an Akrapovič exhaust with carbon-fibre end caps.
The manufacturer also identifies clip-on handlebars and a sporting riding position. That is a useful detail to assess at an appointment: seat height alone cannot tell you how the reach to the bars will suit you.
Ask the team to explain the suspension adjustments and controls. These are genuine equipment details to compare, without treating a specification sheet as a personal road test.
The numbered edition
Obsidian Gold and Factory Custom details
Triumph’s manufacturer announcement describes the Obsidian Gold paint, carbon-fibre bodywork and gold detailing. The individual edition number is etched on the billet aluminium top yoke.
The detail photographs below show the yoke and carbon front mudguard. Together with the numbered production run, they explain the TFC identity more clearly than a general Modern Classics photograph.
If you enquire about a particular motorcycle, ask the team to confirm its edition details, price and what is supplied with it.
Choosing a Modern Classic
Compare the motorcycle as well as the edition
The TFC’s special finish and chassis are part of its appeal. Your riding position, planned journeys and preferred equipment still belong in the decision.
If you would also like to explore the Speed Twin 1200 RS or other current Modern Classics, say so when arranging the appointment. Pure Triumph can confirm the models and demonstrators available at your chosen location.
- Availability first. Ask about TFC allocation and current motorcycles before travelling.
- Riding position. Discuss seat height and the clip-on handlebar layout.
- Exact specification. Confirm equipment, edition details and included documentation.
- Your alternative choice. Name any current Modern Classics you also want to see.
