Torcal or Torcal S?
Bentley’s first fully electric model brings a new choice to the marque. Compare the Torcal and Torcal S, from performance to the details of your commission.
The story in brief
- Two launch versions: Torcal with 821 PS, and Torcal S with up to 888 PS using Launch Control.
- Rapid charging: Bentley quotes 10–80% in as little as 16 minutes under the stated charging conditions.
- Your commission: discuss colour, cabin materials and the current ordering position with Grange Bentley.
The first electric Bentley
Start with the character of your car
Bentley revealed the Torcal in September 2026. The two launch versions give buyers a choice between the core model’s presentation and a more overtly sporting S specification.
Both are fully electric. There is no petrol engine to refuel, so charging belongs in the first conversation alongside paint, wheels and upholstery. Your retailer can help you plan a commission around the way you intend to use the car.
You can explore Torcal at Grange and current Bentley offers. Ask for the latest ordering and delivery information rather than assuming a showroom or demonstrator car is already available.

An electric Bentley cabin
Choose the details you will live with
Bentley’s Torcal model page shows its current interior choices, including hide colours, natural veneers and optional packages. Mulliner personal commissioning provides another route for a more individual specification.
Bring references that mean something to you: a colour, material or object can be a useful starting point. Ask to compare physical samples and how the proposed combination looks together, rather than choosing each element in isolation.
The practicality figures are worth understanding too. Bentley’s launch information quotes a 460-litre rear boot and a separate 90-litre front storage area. They are two different spaces, rather than one continuous 550-litre boot.
Charging and ownership
Plan the charging as carefully as the cabin
Bentley’s current Torcal model page quotes a maximum range of up to 373 miles, equivalent to 600 km. This is a manufacturer figure, with final approval qualifications on the model information; your actual journeys will vary with conditions and specification.
The launch announcement states charging capability up to 400 kW and a 10–80% time of 16 minutes under the stated conditions. A suitably powerful charger and the right battery conditions are essential; this is not a home-charging time.
For home charging, discuss parking, electricity supply and installation before settling on an ownership plan. Bentley’s announced battery warranty is ten years or 100,000 miles, subject to its terms.
The sporting specification
When Torcal S is the right starting point
The S is the natural version to explore if its sporting appearance and additional Launch Control performance are priorities. Its output advantage is clear on paper; deciding how much that matters is a personal choice.
Compare the wheel and exterior specification, then build a cabin that suits you. A car’s headline output does not have to determine every colour and material choice.
Your Grange Bentley team can provide an individual quotation that sets out the model, options and current delivery expectation.
