Flying Spur: comfort, considered
A quieter moment between destinations. Choose your Flying Spur’s seating and cabin details around the way you and your passengers prefer to travel.
Begin in the rear cabin
A Flying Spur should feel considered from every seat. Before choosing hides or veneers, decide who will usually travel behind you and whether an additional seating position matters.
Bentley’s current imagery shows both a 4+1 layout and a four-seat Mulliner configuration. These are specification choices to confirm on the exact car, rather than a reason to assume every Flying Spur has the same rear cabin.
Comfort starts with adjustment
The current Flying Spur’s Front & Rear Comfort Specification includes a six-setting massage function in four seats, alongside adjustment of the headrests, cushions and backrest bolsters.
At your appointment, settle into the seat you will use most. Adjust the cushion and backrest first, then try the massage settings. Ask a regular rear passenger to do the same while the front seat remains in your normal driving position.
Consider Wellness Seating separately
Wellness Seating brings two further functions: Seat Auto Climate responds to temperature and humidity using heating and ventilation; Postural Adjust makes subtle changes in pressure through air pockets within the seat.
Ask the team to identify the functions fitted to your chosen derivative and the seating positions they serve. The current Mulliner page lists Wellness Seating as an option; an older brochure or a photograph should not stand in for the car’s build specification.
Give rear passengers their own demonstration
The Touch Screen Remote, housed at the rear of the centre console, brings cabin functions within reach. Bentley lists seat functions, audio and air-conditioning controls, with the available controls depending on the car’s equipment.
Compare the seating layouts with the remote in hand. Check whether the controls feel natural, where personal items will sit and how easily passengers can enter and leave the cabin.
Choose an atmosphere you will enjoy
Hide, quilting and veneer are part of the experience on a longer journey. View the complete combination in daylight where possible, then check how the cabin lighting changes it after dark.
Bentley also describes enhanced cabin-air filtration with automatic recirculation when outside pollution rises. Ask the team to show you the climate settings alongside the seating controls, so the comfort specification is easy to use from the first journey.
Make comfort part of your commission
Tell a Grange Bentley specialist who travels with you and how you use the rear cabin. Arrange a viewing to compare seating, controls and materials, with the exact equipment confirmed before you decide.
