About Darren Turner

Darren Turner is one of our very own and is one of the UK's most successful and experienced racing drivers currently driving for Aston Martin Racing as well as running his own successful racing simulator business.

In his early career, Darren's talent was recognised when we won the prestigious McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver of the Year Award. In winning the award he joined David Coulthard, Dario Franchitti and Lando Norris - each notable winners of the award. Darren enjoyed many years at McLaren and was McLaren F1's Test Driver for many years before joining Aston Martin Racing.

One of his greatest achievements was winning the 2017 Le Mans 24-hour endurance race where we set a new lap record on his qualifying lap. Grange was proud to be in the stands cheering him on as he and his team won an epic race on the last lap. You can read more on Le Mans 2017 here and watch the highlights video below.
