The role is office-based located at our Grange Jaguar Land Rover Hatfield with a requirement to visit other branches across the group to provide ongoing support
We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Support Engineer with proven experience supporting desktop, server, network, and general IT systems to join our UK support team. As well as being responsible for providing outstanding customer support, the 1st and 2nd Line Support Engineer will proactively assist and solve previously escalated issues with the company's systems.
The successful Candidate must have proven experience of providing excellent levels of support by telephone, email, and remote support.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Support and maintain day-to-day IT services within the business and for our Associates (1st and 2nd line support)
• Provide technical assistance and ongoing improvements
• Hardware and software installation
• Problem solving/ Fault finding
This is a permanent full-time position:
Monday to Friday (9:00 – 17:30)
Successful applicants will possess and be able to offer;
• PC Hardware.
• Printer Support.
• Understanding of Active Directory
• knowledge of networking – firewalls, routing, TCP/IP.
• Microsoft operating systems Windows 10 and Windows Server.
• knowledge of The Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
• understanding of Microsoft Office 365.
• Problem Solving.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid Driving Licence
