The role will require to be up to two days in the office per week in Swindon.

You will need to have a good setup for home working. You must have a desire to work from home most of the time. You must be comfortable with zoom calls (max twice a week).

Job Role

We are looking for a Support Developer to work alongside a Lead on a greenfield project. The project is a new web-based platform and companion app. You will be co-working on supporting the system and collaborating on some parts of the system.

Our core tech environment is:

- ASP.NET Core 5.0

- Blazor Server

- SQL Server

If you have experience of any the following, it would be a bonus:

- Our core tech (above)

- Creating iOS/Android applications

- Razor

- Web API

- gRPC

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Keep tabs on the project technically, be ready to take over
  • Assessment of whether new methods should be used
  • Software development collaboration
  • Documentation
  • Working in teams to develop testing products
  • Maintain close communication with development and technical teams
  • Ensure documentation is complete, current and accessible
  • Communicate effectively to both management team and other team members – internally and externally
  • Develop self, and maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times
  • An analytical approach and a keen eye for detail
