Cambria Investments Holdings Ltd acquires Bentley and McLaren New Forest from Harwoods.

Cambria Group has acquired Bentley and McLaren New Forest from Harwoods as it continues to expand its premium and luxury retail operations through strategic acquisitions.

The transaction, completed 1st June 2026 for an undisclosed sum, will see the Bentley and McLaren operations in the New Forest join Cambria's Grange Motors premium and luxury retail division. 23 employees will transfer to Grange Motors as part of the deal.

The acquisition strengthens Grange Motors presence in the South of England and adds one further Bentley retailer taking Grange Motors total representation points to three and a second McLaren retailer.

Grange Motors is the HLS retail arm of Cambria Investments Holdings Ltd and also represents a range of premium and luxury automotive brands across the UK, including Alpine, Aston Martin, Bentley, Corvette, INEOS, JLR, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce and Triumph.

The acquisition is the latest step in the Grange Motors strategy to build scale within the premium and luxury automotive sector, targeting opportunities that complement its existing brand portfolio and geographic footprint.

Tim Duckers, group managing director at Cambria Group said: "We are pleased to welcome the Bentley and McLaren New Forest businesses and the new Associates into the Grange Motors family. The acquisition represents another important step in our strategy to strengthen and expand our luxury retail operations through carefully selected opportunities that align with our values, culture and long-term ambitions.

"Bentley and McLaren are two of the world's most respected premium, luxury and performance brands. The New Forest team has built an excellent reputation for customer service and brand representation, and we look forward to building on that success.

"We continue to seek attractive opportunities within the premium and luxury automotive sector and remain focused on opportunities that complement our existing footprint, strengthen our manufacturer relationships and deliver long-term value for customers, associates and brand partners."

For Harwoods, the transaction forms part of the group's ongoing strategic plans. The South of England dealer group has a long-established presence in premium and luxury automotive retail and continues to represent a number of leading automotive brands across its network.

Archie Harwood, chief executive of Harwoods, said: "After careful consideration, we believe Cambria is the right long-term home for Bentley and McLaren New Forest. The business, its colleagues and customers will benefit from joining a group with significant experience in premium and luxury automotive retail, and we wish the team every success for the future."

The acquisition follows continued investment by Cambria in its premium and luxury operations since becoming privately owned in 2021 and signals the group's intention to pursue further strategic opportunities where they strengthen its market position and support sustainable long-term growth.
