As the cafe culture market continues to thrive, a host of colour updates will be available across a wide range of Kawasaki machines for 2018; including the popular Vulcan S, Versys 650, Z1000 and Z1000SX. Continental Tyre Group Ltd has announced its new Communications Officer Sam Kelly. Sam recently graduated from Bournemouth University with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Communication and Media. He will be offering internal and external communications support for the UK and Ireland. Talking about the role at Continental, Sam said; "The automotive industry has always appealed to me. After my year in industry, it became apparent this would be my industry of choice after my degree. Continental is a perfect fit and I can't wait to get involved in all the role has to offer." Ford has announced the launch of its new Transit Custom, which will be available to order later this year, and is scheduled for customer delivery in early 2018. It has a sleek new front-end design with three-bar Transit grille and an all-new interior. It will be powered by the Dagenham-built Ford EcoBlue 2.0-litre diesel engine and a new ECOnetic variant, delivering improved fuel efficiency and 148 g/km CO2 emissions will be available. "Transit Custom has been a runaway success since it was introduced, and this new version raises the game once more," said Hans Schep, general manager, Commercial Vehicles, Ford of Europe. "We have listened carefully to our customers, and delivered a one-tonne van that is even more stylish, even more productive, and packed with smart features." The completely re-designed cabin will give best-in-class stowage, improved comfort and ergonomics, and easy connectivity with SYNC 3 or MyFord Dock options. This new generation Transit Custom begins the process of Ford's next major commercial vehicle innovation, with the introduction of the zero-emission capable Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) derivative scheduled for 2019.

The new Fiat Panda City Cross, with two-wheel-drive and urban crossover looks, has now been launched. It has been designed for customers looking for a practical city car with an off-road look. The Panda City Cross comes with body-coloured front and rear bumper inserts and side mouldings and contrasting black door mirror caps, roof bars and door handles. And it is all underlined by some exceptionally looking 15-inch alloy wheels. Skoda is launching an upgraded version of its Citigo model. There will be a choice of three or five doors and many new design, technology and equipment features. The completely revised front section includes a new bonnet with power dome design, a modified bumper, revamped fog lights and a redesigned radiator grille. The New SEAT Arona is the Spanish brand's third new release in 2017, after the upgraded Leon and the New Ibiza. It is yet another addition to the SEAT range in its biggest product offensive ever, where it sits neatly within the SUV range as the younger brother in the family. "We at SEAT are very persistent. The all-new Kia Stonic that is set to be on sale in Europe during this year's third quarter, will prove to be an important model for Kia in one of Europe's newest and fastest-growing vehicle segments.
